Former 1933 graduate Miriam Olmsted recognized

Miriam Olmsted, a former Two Rivers Public School teacher (where she taught for 38 years) and 1933 graduate of Fond du Lac High School, recently turned 100 years old.  She received a visit from several fifth graders who delivered more than 100 letters written by their fifth grade class.

During retirement, Miriam has enjoyed being actively involved with Alpha Theta Chapter, Retired Teachers Association, traveling, and is a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church in Fond du Lac. She resides at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac, and continues her friendships with her ties to Two Rivers.
