Wishing All Our Fondy Alums a Wonderful Holiday Season!
The holidays are a wonderful time in Fond du Lac. It's a time when families can get together, and many of our alumni who have moved elsewhere come back to our community to spend the holidays.
This weekend, Fond du Lac High School’s Night of Silence, a musical performance that has become a holiday tradition for many, will be live streamed through the District’s website on Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. It will be available on the home page by scrolling down to the Social Media Hub and clicking on the Boxcast window.
This season, we are grateful to receive such wonderful support from our alumni and all our community members. The success of our schools and students depends on this support, whether it comes in the form of mentorships, volunteering or other types of contributions. If you'd like to learn more about how you can get involved in Fondy schools, please visit our volunteer page.
Looking for something to do?
While school is out for a couple weeks in late December and early January, our student-athletes will still be in action. If you're in town over the holidays, we invite you to root on the Cardinals over the break:
On Dec. 22 at 7 p.m., the boys' hockey team takes on St. Mary's Springs at the Fond du Lac Blue Line Ice Center.
Also on Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m., the boys’ basketball team plays Hortonville at the high school fieldhouse.
The girls' varsity basketball team will take part in an invitational at nearby Oshkosh West High School Dec. 27-28. Game times TBD.
Finally, we would like to remind you that Cardinal Nation is now accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award. If you know of someone (including yourself) who deserves recognition, we encourage you to contact email@example.com for the related paperwork. This award is a great way for us to acknowledge the work of our alums — no matter where their lives have taken them!
From the Fond du Lac School District, we wish you a safe, fun and enjoyable holiday season. And, as always, go Cardinals!
